With a focus on cell and molecular biology, she possesses a wealth of experience in her field. Driven by her passion for research, Sunayana has dedicated her efforts to investigating the molecular mechanisms that underlie the biogenesis of tunneling nanotubes (TNTs), which have been found to play a critical role in the spread of Huntingtons disease in the brain.Sunayanas interests and pursuits extend beyond her research work, and she has been an active participant in various co-curricular activities. As a club officer for the Society of Research Fellows, she has been involved in organizing events and activities for the group. She has also volunteered for outreach events and attended professional development sessions, displaying a keen interest in keeping abreast of the latest trends and developments in her field.Sunayana has been actively involved in promoting her home culture by volunteering at Diwali events and being a part of the Diwali planning committee. Her contribution has helped showcase her culture to the wider community, fostering greater understanding and appreciation of diverse cultural traditions.In addition to her academic and co-curricular pursuits, Sunayana has several hobbies that she enjoys in her leisure time.
