Sandra Russo retired as Director of the Office for Global Research Engagement (OGRE) in the International Center after 32 years of professional international work, research, and scholarship. Her contributions on gender and development related to climate change and adaptation, ecofeminism, water resource management, and food security are innumerable and invaluable not only to the advancement of UF global research, but to many donors, NGOs, and research organizations around the world for which she served as collaborator, mentor, and groundbreaker. Dr. Russo has worked directly with the US Agency for International Development, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research, the US Department of Agriculture Foreign Agriculture Service,Sandra attended innumerable conferences as speaker, moderator, and panelist.the National Science Foundation (NSF), and many more.
