Fulbright Day on UF Campus

Every Spring, the University of Florida International Center hosts Fulbright Day in collaboration with the UF Honors Program, the President’s Office and George A. Smathers Libraries.

The day is devoted to discussing ways to continue and increase awareness about Fulbright programs across campus, learning about programs’ application process, and listening to the experiences of past Fulbright scholars and students.

Fulbright representatives from the Institute of International Education are invited to participate in the day’s info sessions, discussions and workshops designed for undergraduate advisors, graduate coordinators, faculty and students.

To culminate the day and to honor UF’s past and current Fulbright scholars and student participants, President Bernie Machen hosts a by-invitation-only reception at the UF President’s House following all the day’s activities.
