Welcome to Peace Corps at the University of Florida

The UF Peace Corps Office is located in Room 154 at the International Center on the first floor of the HUB.  Breton Homewood is UF’s Peace Corps recruiter. Students can make appointments via phone or email. Walk-Ins are welcome on Tuesdays from 10am to noon, but an appointment is preferred.

Breton Homewood joined UFIC in July 2016 as the UF Campus Peace Corps Recruiter. Breton is currently working to obtain his Master’s degree in the University of Florida’s Master of Sustainable Development Practice program. Breton is a Return Peace Corps Volunteer, having served in Paraguay from 2012-2016. Breton’s work on campus is to raise awareness about the opportunities to work abroad with Peace Corps, help applicants become more competitive, and guide interested students through the application process. Breton speaks Spanish and Guaraní.
