b'In partnership with offices around campus, we welcomed and held virtual orientations for our incoming groups of approximately 310 F-1 students in August 2020 and 320 F-1 students in January 2021. Although Fall 2020 brought less than a fourth of our usual numbers, these students were no less determined to call UF home. The main ISCS service affected by COVID-19 was our ability to meet with students in-person. We therefore created Virtual Office Hours (VOH) held via Zoom each Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. To date, between Summer 2020-Spring 2021, we have seen over 2500 F-1 students via VOH, while continuing to process Initial and Transfer-in I-20s, and assisting current students with their needs.During the pandemic, ISCS staff have continued to support nearly 6,000 F-1 international students via Zoom, email, phone, and for limited in-person services, such as document retrieval. We have nearly 4,350 currently enrolled students, with approximately 200 of those students engaged in Curricular Practical Training (CPT) this academic year.
