During the five-week training, they worked collaboratively to design a virtual exchange module for their respective courses on global health and medical microbiology. The final activity consisted of a hackathon or mock global case study competition, in which international teams of students worked together to design a strategy to address a global health issue.GLOBAL TEACHING & LEARNING CERTIFICATEIn collaboration with the UF International Center, the Center for Teaching Excellence launched a Global Teaching & Learning Certificate as part of the Passport to Great Teaching program. These trainings help faculty to internationalize their on-campus courses and to prepare for the experience of teaching abroad.
