Global Health Council

The mission of the GHC is to contribute to the improvement of the health and well-being of populations, communities, and individuals around the world by supporting the application of UF community members' strengths in education, research, and service in collaboration with partners around the world.

The University of Florida Global Health Council was established in the fall of 2012 to promote interest, share current efforts, and discern synergies in global health activities among UF community members. The GHC strives to establish a shared philosophy in global health engagement by all UF community members; to facilitate interdisciplinary communication and collaboration among UF community members interested in global health; and to enhance current global health activities through increased awareness, strengthened opportunities, and shared resources.
