Mr. Williams will talk about:

Mr. Williams is a Diplomat-in-Residence currently assigned to Florida A & M University. A Foreign Service Officer since 1978, he has had numerous assignments at U.S. diplomatic missions overseas and at the Department of State in Washington, DC. As a result of his service, he has received several Meritorious Honor Awards and the State Department’s Superior Honor Award.
Nearly 20 years of Mr. Williams’ service has been overseas in Asia and throughout the Western Hemisphere. Mr. Williams’ experiences and responsibilities have varied from having responsibility for issues concerning the protection and welfare of American citizens residing in countries in which he was posted to service as a curriculum advisor at the Foreign Service Institute’s (FSI) School of Leadership and Management Studies, where he helped to develop a continuum of leadership training that is now mandatory for Foreign Service Officers under competition for promotion.
