STAFFING Faculty and Scholar Services welcomes the additions of Susie Studstill and Jennifer Pederson to their Program Assistant positions. These positions are responsible for the processing of documents and providing information associated with the J program, and the H-1B, TN, O and E-3 classifications. Susie Studstill comes to us from the International Student Services section of the International Center. Jennifer Pederson comes to us from the International Center, previously she was the Administrative Assistant for Lynn Frazier, Exective Associate Director of the International Center. Please direct inquires regarding non-immigrant cases to FSS and submit all DS 2019 applications (for the J program) and Form I-129 petition packets (for H-1B, TN, O, and E-3 status) to: Faculty and Scholar Services (FSS), 190 HUB, P.O. Box 113225. Yvette McKinney will continue to handle appeals for foreign nationals who possess non -immigrant statuses, and cases involving the University’s sponsorship of Permanent Resident status. Inquiries and applications involving University sponsored permanent resident status sponsorship should continue to be submitted to Yvette McKinney (Coordinator, Academic Programs). |

Urgent Notice Concerning USCIS Government Filing Fee Increases On May 29, 2007, USCIS announced that it will increase government filing fees on ALL employment and family-based immigration applications. These new government filing fees are effective from July 30th, 2007. A chart with the new fees is attached along with the USCIS announcement and Q and A. |
