Form I-140 Petition Packets for a member of the Professions holding an Advanced Degree (EB2-1) or a Professional possessing a Bachelor's Degree (EB2-2)
The following items are required to accompany the I-140 petition as evidence of the qualifications for the EB2-1 or EB2-2 categories. The hiring department assemble these exhibits:
Administrative Documents
- Coversheet
- Form I-140
- Offer of Employment Letter
A letter that is issued by a UF department or center offering a tenure-track teaching position, a permanent research or professional position (See section about Letters of Offer for required terminology that appears in offer letters), - Ph.D., M.D. Degree, etc.
The degree that qualifies him/her for the applicable position is required. If the diploma is in a foreign language, please provide a translation, signed by the translator with a statement that addresses his or her competency to translate the document, and the completeness and accuracy of the translation - Curriculum Vitae (current)
- Department/Center’s Intent to Continue to Employ Letter
- Letter of Verification of years of experience required to qualify for the position, as indicated on the ETA Form 9089 (if applicable)
